Today in Rome, a press conference was held on new developments in treating motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. During the conference, Prof. Stocchi and Dr. De Pandis of IRCCS San Raffaele Pisana, and Dr. Quattrocchi of the Università Campus Biomedico di Roma presented 4 recently published studies that demonstrate how the use of GONDOLA helps Parkinson’s patients improve motor disorders, particularly the symptom of Freezing of gait. Of particular importance are the effects on the activation of brain areas involved in movement management and their effectiveness in intermediate and advanced stages of Parkinson’s disease. |
