AMPS is more effective on advanced Parkinson’s

An article has been published in the Parkinson’s Disease journal, designed by Dr. Maria Francesca De Pandis, Head of the Parkinson Center at San Raffaele Hospital in Cassino. It involved 35 patients at various stages of Parkinson’s disease (measured according to the H&Y scale) who were treated with the AMPS (Automated Mechanical Peripheral Stimulation) therapy delivered by the GONDOLA® device.

This study has measured and documented a strong correlation between the patient’s clinical condition and the percentage of improvement in movement achieved after AMPS therapy. Specifically, the more compromised the patient’s clinical situation, the greater the improvement obtained.

Effective Therapy for Enhancing Quality of Life

This study also provides important insights into how AMPS can be an effective therapy for improving the quality of life and well-being of individuals with Parkinson’s, especially those with a particularly compromised clinical profile.
