A new clinical study has been initiated in Brazil on the Gondola® medical device at the Federal University of Health Science of Porto Alegre. The study, designed by Dr. Aline de Souza Pagnussat and Dr. Ana Kleiner, aims to further document the benefits of AMPS therapy in reducing Freezing of Gait. Specifically, it will investigate variations in walking parameters, the patient’s clinical status, fall risk, and brain connectivity using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).
The study is expected to conclude in June 2016. We will keep you updated on developments.
